MANCHESTER, England (AP) — Joe Root kept England’s hopes of a series-leveling win alive in the fourth Ashes test by dismissing centurion Marnus Labuschagne on a rain-affected fourth day Saturday. The worst fears of a washout at Old Trafford were not realized, with persistent showers finally clearing in time to get play underway at 2:45 p.m. But a stand of 103 between Labuschagne and Mitch Marsh threatened to shut the door on the home side.Labuschagne made a defiant 111 to nudge his side closer to a draw that would see Australia retain the urn. But he was finally removed about 15 minutes before tea when he nicked Root’s occasional off-spin to Jonny Bairstow, who gathered well at the second attempt. That left the tourists on 214-5, 61 behind England having ended day three 167 adrift.Root bowled only because of bad light, with the umpires deciding that conditions were too gloomy for the seamers, but his unpredictable offerings provided the biggest threat and he was unlucky no...Malasia cancela un festival de música tras un beso del cantante de The 1975 con otro hombre

HOYLAKE, England (AP) — Two brothers teed off within an hour and a half of each other in the third round of the British Open. For the parents of Matt and Alex Fitzpatrick, it might have been a case of split loyalties as they weighed up which of their sons to follow at Royal Liverpool on Saturday.“I told them to go focus on him,” said Matt, the U.S. Open champion last year and the older of the siblings by four years. “That’s more important. This is my, what, ninth? So they’ve seen all nine of those.”They were treated to quite the show by Alex, whose first Open is going better than he can ever have imagined. He birdied three of his last four holes to shoot 6-under 65 and possibly move into contention for the claret jug, a highly improbable scenario for a player ranked No. 561 and who has golfed in his brother’s shadow.Alex’s score would have tied the record for the low score in 13 Opens to have been held at Hoylake had Jon Rahm not shot 63 a half hour earlier.“I’m not familiar with this...Hollywood man arrested for fleeing officers in Florida Keys
